These terms govern a merchant’s use of AfterRevenue. By approving an AfterRevenue subscription or using the service, the merchant agrees to these terms on behalf of the Shopify business it represents.
Service
AfterRevenue provides merchant-configured post-purchase recovery workflows. Availability of any action depends on current Shopify context, merchant rules, customer authorization, fulfilment, inventory, payment state, platform APIs, and applicable law. A displayed path is not a guarantee that an order can be changed.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for store policies, configured offers and cancellation rules, product and pricing accuracy, fulfilment operations, customer communications, legal disclosures, staff access, and the external systems they connect. Merchants must not use AfterRevenue to mislead shoppers or process data beyond a lawful purpose.
Billing and trial
New public plans include a 30-day trial when shown in the Shopify Billing approval flow. After the trial, Shopify bills the approved monthly amount unless the subscription is cancelled. Plan names, prices, currency, trial, and billing interval shown by Shopify at approval control the subscription. Taxes and platform terms may apply.
Acceptable use
Do not probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, upload malware, submit secrets through customer forms, misuse Shopify or vendor APIs, or use the service in violation of law or third-party rights.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue functionality to improve safety, comply with platform requirements, or address operational risk. Material changes will be communicated where required.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfterRevenue is provided without implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Any direct liability is limited to amounts paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation.
Termination
A merchant may uninstall the app or cancel its Shopify subscription. We may suspend access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, platform requirement, or unlawful use. Privacy and retention obligations survive as required.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
